General Objectives & Approach
This service has two objectives:
- To review the main elements and concepts of project management necessary for effective and targeted preparation for
- PMP® certification, in accordance with PMI standards.
- To support preparation for the PMP® exam through a proven teaching method based on the participants’ experience.
An immersive, experience-based approach
This training program uses active methods, encourages peer-to-peer exchanges, and draws on the proven experience of participants.
It combines four days of in-person training designed to structure key knowledge with three remote workshops to guide you step by step toward certification.
This program is complemented by our learning platform, an official manual, and an online question bank for effective practice.
Program
Half a day remotely for:
- Fpromotesr exchanges between participantss
- Identify individual expectations and prior experiences
- Clarify the training objectives
- Familiarize yourself with the tools and resources available.
The first moduleoftwodays of in-person trainingaims to:
- Understanding the environment and PMP® standards
- Familiarize yourself with the vocabulary, the exam format, and the project stakeholders
- Choosing the project approach (predictive, agile, hybrid)
- Mobilizing teams and driving change
Ce secondmodule covers the following objectives:
- Mastering planning tools (work, risks, quality, supplies)
- Apply concepts in real-world situations
- Manage project performance
- Close the project and consolidate learning
The training is supplemented by support for PMP® certification. This support is organized into three remote workshops for:
- Define a personalized preparation strategy
- Take two mock exams under real conditions
- Debrief collectively and explore complex topics in depth
- Benefit from targeted advice and individual coaching
Practical information
- Group size: The number of participants per group is limited to 13 people for optimal learning.
- Location: The in-person training will be held in Geneva, at 38 Rue de Montbrillant, close to Cornavin train station. A map will be provided before the training begins.
- Schedule: In-person training days take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Remote support: workshops are organized via Zoom. The access code will be sent by email in due course.
- Language: Sessions are offered in English only, both for training and online workshops.
Prerequisites
- Experience: proven professional experience in project management as a project manager, executive, consultant, or technical manager. The PMI requires a minimum of 3 years of project management experience, in addition to other criteria. See www.pmi.org for detailed conditions.
- Proficiency in office software: comfort with standard digital tools, Personal computer with camera and good internet connection
- Personal motivation: 80-160 hours of personal work will be required in addition to the training.
- Availability: attendance above 80% and completion of all e-learning tests
- Language: Minimum English level C1
