PRINCE2® Practitioner certifies the ability to use, tailor, and apply the PRINCE2® methodology within a project environment. It is designed for professionals who wish to demonstrate operational mastery of the method beyond a basic understanding of its fundamental concepts.
PRINCE2® is an internationally recognized project management methodology structured around clearly defined principles, practices, processes, and roles. The Practitioner certification validates the ability to apply this methodology in project scenarios while taking into account context, governance, responsibilities, management products, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
It is the natural next step after PRINCE2® Foundation, but it is also accessible to holders of certain other recognized project management certifications, including PMP®, CAPM®, and IPMA® Levels A to D, subject to the eligibility requirements defined by PeopleCert.
This certification is particularly relevant for project managers, project coordinators, PMO professionals, team leaders, business analysts, change managers, and professionals who lead or contribute to projects within structured environments.
